For a long time I had ideas but no appetite for the old grind of building them. When you're time-poor, you have limited patience for disappearing into debugging loops and still not making enough real progress.
Coding agents changed that for me. It started with shell scripts. I'm a decent shell scripter, but the models were faster than me, and reviewing the output usually taught me something. Then tools like Aider — less chat-and-copypaste, more direct iteration in the repo.
This forum is one of the things I shipped. The setup, categories, pages, branding, privacy policy — all done in one session with an agent. Would have taken me a weekend otherwise.
